Flexible Spending Accounts

What is a Flexible Spending Account?

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a pre-tax benefit account used to pay for eligible expenses that aren’t covered by your insurance plan or elsewhere. It’s a smart, simple way to save money while taking care of yourself and your family. Because you spend enough. Don't pay taxes on it, too.

  • A Healthcare FSA allows you to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision care expenses.
  • A Dependent Care FSA allows you to pay for dependent care services, such as preschool, summer day camp, before or after school programs, and child or elder daycare.

Our Healthcare FSAs and Dependent Care FSAs are through WageWorks. You can use your account to pay for a variety of healthcare products and services for you, your spouse, and your dependents. The IRS determines which expenses are eligible for reimbursement.
